Big Sur is magical. Proposing and getting engaged is the most magical, surreal moment in perhaps a lifetime. So, it’s no surprise so many guys choose Big Sur to propose to their partners. I shoot dozens of proposals a year here, and so I thought I would share a few of my favorite spots to pop the question. 1. Point Lobos State Park. Otherworldly and really close to the Monterey peninsula if you’re coming from up North.

2 . Pfeiffer Big Sur State Park. Redwoods! So serene, peaceful, and romantic.

3. Garrapata Beach. A gorgeous beach with rock formations and with way less crowds than others in Big Sur.

4. Ventana Big Sur’s Glass gallery for a private dinner. My favorite part about proposing here is that it will be guaranteed nobody else will be there. 5 Bixby Bridge. It’s so popular for a reason. It’s stunning. The bridge is beautiful, but it also has amazing views. Message me for tips on how to avoid the crowds.
