Mae + Stephen are two of the kindest people I have ever met. For real. They are positive, upbeat, and energetic (they both work in health & fitness so I get where their energy comes from, oh hey endorphins). And that makes you just immediately want the best for them. Everyone they loved came together to throw a seamless backyard wedding. Every personalized detail (coordinated flawlessly by Paige and co. at Bliss Events) spoke to who they are as a couple. From local barista Chris O’brien serving up coffee cocktails at the ceremony and reception, to cult favorite The Taco Stand catering, local vegan donuts and raw macaroons served as dessert, to Mae’s Converse sneakers and Stephen’s barbell socks, and the list goes on. My favorite part were the stunning and free-spirited wildflowers, grown with love by the bride’s mom. The backyard looked like a dreamy tropical hideaway. The relaxed, cocktail-party inspired lounge seating (this is THE new thing in California weddings) added to the welcoming vibe. Congratulations, Mae + Stephen. So happy for you two!
