De Tierra Vineyards House Wedding

A beautiful intimate wedding/elopement in a private vineyard in Corral de Tierra.

I LOVED capturing the entire wedding day for M+P, aka world’s cutest couple. Preston has been a traveling musician for twelve years (he’s a guitarist for Jamestown Revival), and Monica is a pediatric trauma nurse (as all parents would agree she’s a legit angel/hero in my book). COVID had both a positive effect on their relationship (quarantining together during SIP in March solidified their relationship) but frustratingly like so many engaged couples have had to deal with in 2020, the pandemic forced them to change wedding plans several times. In the end though, the day was so beautiful. They are a very intentional couple so they found ways to include family that couldn’t make it (facetiming, letters to read the day of, Zoom calls for the ceremony/cake cutting/first dance) which was really beautiful. They were married right outside of the Vineyard House at De Tierra Vineyards, overlooking the vines. Super private. Then we escaped the heat for some coastal pics, and then came back to photograph their first dance and cake cutting. Even if their vocations are on different ends of the spectrum right brain/left brain wise, it was easy to see they share the same values. All day long they were kind, generous, and thoughtful towards each other and their families (and me…thanks guys for sending me home with dinner from the private chef oh and your stunning centerpiece!!).
